Message from Rhos Community Council
You may be aware that this Council has purchased 2 mobile speed cameras in an effort to raise awareness of the 20 mph enforceable in the Community.
It has been very successful, allows us to capture data, such as speeds, peak times etc. which can then be used to work with other agencies to maintain the safety within the community.
It is apparent that speed and numbers of vehicles increase during 8-9a.m. and 3-4p.m. possibly indicating school times.
Rhos Community Council request that those driving to and from school adhere to the speed limits of 20mph and particularly at those times when the most children and youths would be present on the roads.
