Please be advised that the applications for secondary school places for the September 2025 intake are now open. Secondary schools will be holding their open evenings in the coming weeks. If you’re looking at options, they can be a great opportunity for both parents, guardians and children to visit schools to get an idea of what they are like. The dates for all school open evenings are available on the WCBC website. Late applications are processed after those received on time, so it is important you submit your application by the closing date – 4th November 2024. It is strongly recommended that you list more than one preference when making your application. Listing only one school, or listing the same school multiple times, does not result in a better chance of being offered that school. However, if you list only one preference and this is unsuccessful, any new preferences that you add after the closing date will be ‘late’ applications.
