As you will be aware, on Thursday 8th September Buckingham Palace sadly announced the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
The UK Government later announced that Monday 19 September, the date of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral, will be a bank holiday across the United Kingdom and that schools would not be asked to remain open on this day.
Our school will be closed on Monday 19 September to mark Her Majesty’s passing and commemorate Her reign. We will open as normal from Tuesday 20th September.
