We will be celebrating our World Book Day on Thursday 9th March. We are not asking children to dress up. The children will be taking part in various activities during the day. Our slogan of the day will be ‘Read to Recharge’ as reading is vital for wellbeing, offering entertainment, escape and a much needed screen break!
Our school council will also be holding a book sale in the afternoon where books will be sold for 10p.
We would also like each pupil to bring in/email a photograph of themselves #shelfie – We would like children to take a photo of themselves in front of their bookshelf at home or just sitting in a chair reading/all weird and wonderful places!
